As senior site editor, Jan Stafford focuses her efforts on defining and implementing the overall strategy for SearchServerVirtualization.com. She directs the development of the site’s original content, including features, tips and news. She recruits industry leaders and users to serve on the advisory board and to contribute columns and tips.

Jan has covered the computer industry for the last 20 years, writing about everything from word processors to server virtualization. She has served in top editorial positions with several national trade publications, as a contributor to such publications as “PC Week Inside” and Investor’s Business Daily, and as a speaker at industry conferences. She came to TechTarget from VARBusiness, where she developed and wrote cover stories, executive Q&As and new technology reports for online and print publications.

Hannah Drake is SearchServerVirtualization.com’s assistant editor. Her time is spent managing daily newsletters, posting new content to the site and overseeing the Ask the Experts section. A recent graduate, she double majored in Journalism and English at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, graduating Magna Cum Laude in May of 2006. While an undergrad, she interned at UMass Magazine as an editoral assistant and covered general news for The Daily Collegian, the university’s paper, for two years. She also interned at SearchDataCenter.com, a TechTarget sister site, for a year.

Alex Barrett is currently the news director for SearchServerVirtualization.com. Alex has over ten years experience covering enterprise infrastructure and IT. She joined TechTarget in 2002 as one of the founding editors of Storage Magazine, where she oversaw “Trends.” Prior to TechTarget, Alex was senior editor at SunExpert Magazine.
